After a long two-year hiatus, I’m blogging again …! One key impetus is the upcoming THATCamp hosted by the folks doing really cool stuff over at the Center for History and New Media at George Mason U. next weekend, and EVERYONE it seems has a website or blog going.

Plus the Jefferson Library is FINALLY taking the plunge and going ahead with a public blog. Anna Berkes, our fearless Research Librarian has had a JL Test Blog going intermittently, and she is raring to go. It has so much potential to help us connect with our patrons and with the world at large.

So it seems like if I’m going to become a regular blogger, there’s no better time to start or rather re-start. I was up till 2 am last night trying out new skins and installing new widgets, and actually feel a little wind in my sails … let’s hope the wind doesn’t die down soon :-p
